BK Ugglan's Thor Bergqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save BK Ugglan from getting a goal against them. Roger Malmberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Thor Bergqvist made a huge save. The supporters of Rossoneri XI booed when BK Ugglan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timmy Strandberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Rickard Lang from long distance, 19 minutes into the match, got Thor Bergqvist's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Dag Wallmark hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The supporters of Rossoneri XI booed when BK Ugglan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tor Ek didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in BK Ugglan's zone, Rickard Lang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thor Bergqvist came out of the goal and Rickard Lang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the game, Roger Malmberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Thor Bergqvist. Roger Malmberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Knut Bergdal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dag Wallmark, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Thor Bergqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Malmberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, BK Ugglan's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Malmberg came free, but Thor Bergqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tor Ek hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute of the match Olle Uter shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thor Bergqvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, BK Ugglan's Thor Bergqvist got control of the ball when Roger Malmberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to BK Ugglan getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Tor Ek hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Billy Dalgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th match minute, Rossoneri XI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Billy Dalgren to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in BK Ugglan fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! Rickard Lang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ingmar Termander fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BK Ugglan's protests and gave Ingmar Termander a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th minute, Ingmar Termander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Knut Bergdal didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 68th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. After 74 played minutes BK Ugglan got a freekick which was hit by Timmy Strandberg. In the 77th match minute, BK Ugglan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemar Björn to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vidar Eliasson in the 79th minute of play forced BK Ugglan's goalkeeper Thor Bergqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thor Bergqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vidar Eliasson in the 82nd minute of the match. Rossoneri XI's Vidar Eliasson got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thor Bergqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vidar Eliasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute, Vidar Eliasson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rossoneri XI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Knut Bergdal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dag Wallmark went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score.
