Spectators: 7588 (Terracing: 5692, Seating: 1745, VIP seats: 151) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Roger Malmberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. The Formentera fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Formentera's Alonzo Vincente looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Billy Dalgren kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Formentera's Prudencio Otsoko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy Dalgren in the 11th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Pastor Oriche took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Knut Bergdal to make any attempt to save it. After 25 minutes, Rickard Lang mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rossoneri XI and the Formentera players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vidar Eliasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Otsoko having to interfere. Alonzo Vincente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alonzo Vincente struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Knut Bergdal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Formentera. A collision led to Rossoneri XI getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Roger Malmberg hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Isaias Lesardo sped through Rossoneri XI's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Knut Bergdal. Olle Uter's late challenge caught a Formentera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olle Uter helped the player get up and apologised.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isaias Lesardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Formentera booed when Rossoneri XI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Ove Bergendahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Knut Bergdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Lesardo in the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Åke Bergfelt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Vincente in the 58th minute of play forced Rossoneri XI's goalkeeper Knut Bergdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Formentera's Prudencio Otsoko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vidar Eliasson in the 66th minute of play. Åke Bergfelt kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Roger Malmberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Otsoko having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Isaias Lesardo made a precise shot to the right of Knut Bergdal. Rossoneri XI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. After 75 minutes of play, Formentera's Isaias Lesardo made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Knut Bergdal was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 83rd minute, Pastor Oriche ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Knut Bergdal was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Isaias Lesardo sped through Rossoneri XI's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Knut Bergdal. Formentera walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
