In the 35th minute, Alfredas Malakauskas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC COSA NOSTRA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 46th minute, Naglis Genys hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half FC COSA NOSTRA were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Algirdas Brazauskas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes in the game, Aloyzas Jučas fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Maximiliano Astudillo having to interfere. After 59 minutes of play, FC COSA NOSTRA's Alfredas Malakauskas made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximiliano Astudillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 66 minutes into the match, SAN MARTIN F.C.'s goalkeeper Maximiliano Astudillo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Algirdas Brazauskas. After 71 minutes, Alfredas Vaitkevičius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC COSA NOSTRA and the SAN MARTIN F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SAN MARTIN F.C.'s Alejandro Mendebal got a free kick in the 79th minute. FC COSA NOSTRA's Alfredas Malakauskas shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 80th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Maximiliano Astudillo but with some difficulty. 81 minutes into the game, Arnulfo Qwinton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC COSA NOSTRA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
