Spectators: 7460 (Terracing: 5596, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Guib Abarca kicked off to start the match. Guib Abarca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mădălin Buzgar having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Corneliu Druga got a free kick in the 7th minute. Herminio Abechuco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cătălin Vieru during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cătălin Vieru kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Herminio Abechuco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Octavia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Gigi Unchiaşu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Octavia's Herminio Abechuco got a free kick in the 19th minute. Mădălin Buzgar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herminio Abechuco, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 25th match minute, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petre Bolborici to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Guib Abarca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Octavia's supporters rose to their feet, but Guib Abarca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mădălin Buzgar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Mircea Jivulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Octavia's zone, Gigi Unchiaşu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Veronica Abella came out of the goal and Gigi Unchiaşu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osoro Abalos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Mădălin Buzgar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sorin Opincaru hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. When Guib Abarca came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Octavia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guib Abarca couldn't finish the play. The supporters of FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt booed when Octavia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herminio Abechuco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Octavia were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Herminio Abechuco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 54 minutes into the game, Osoro Abalos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Octavia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt the free kick. Osoro Abalos hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 63 played minutes Octavia got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Abadia. Muc Abarca charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Muc Abarca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Octavia's Muc Abarca got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute, Sorin Opincaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sorin Opincaru charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sorin Opincaru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Guib Abarca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Mădălin Buzgar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osoro Abalos in the 78th minute of play forced FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goalkeeper Mădălin Buzgar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cătălin Vieru hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, Sorin Opincaru notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Octavia's Veronica Abella. Veronica Abella was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ximeno Abechuco struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Mădălin Buzgar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Octavia. Guib Abarca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Mădălin Buzgar made a huge save. The supporters of Octavia booed when FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cătălin Vieru didn't get a good kick on the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Octavia's Guib Abarca broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
