Spectators: 7526 (Terracing: 5645, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) WZG Sandomierz's Roch Marosz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Grosso United's goal looked a bit too open when Roch Marosz came free, but Saturnino Romo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wincenty Bielecki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Peyo in the 5th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Grosso United's Cecilio Bernad got a free kick in the 10th minute. Wasyl Juchno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Romo having to interfere. Saturnino Romo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Kostrzewa in the 14th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Aureliano Geofredo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wincenty Bielecki quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 19th minute, Roch Marosz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Saturnino Romo. The goal made the score 1-0. The supporters of WZG Sandomierz booed when Grosso United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godofredo Manny didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grosso United's Saturnino Romo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Grosso United from getting a goal against them. Boguslaw Gargasz kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Natalio Peyo might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wincenty Bielecki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Natalio Peyo ran back to his position shaking his head. Dariusz Kostrzewa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Romo having to interfere. After 32 played minutes WZG Sandomierz got a freekick which was hit by Boguslaw Gargasz. Saturnino Romo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dariusz Kostrzewa in the 34th minute of the match. Saturnino Romo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Napoleon Odachowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Freddy Gurutz hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. When WZG Sandomierz's Roch Marosz in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grosso United's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Napoleon Odachowski got free with Saturnino Romo in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Grosso United's Natalio Peyo got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Natalio Peyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wincenty Bielecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roch Marosz in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saturnino Romo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carolo Urbasa to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Carolo Urbasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wincenty Bielecki. WZG Sandomierz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carolo Urbasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Saturnino Romo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roch Marosz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Grosso United getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Cayetano Gabirel hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Carolo Urbasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Grosso United's Carolo Urbasa got a free kick in the 67th minute. Saturnino Romo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Napoleon Odachowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Saturnino Romo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dariusz Kostrzewa in the 77th minute of the match. After 77 minutes of play, WZG Sandomierz's Dariusz Kostrzewa made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saturnino Romo was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Grosso United getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Carolo Urbasa hit a great ball. The supporters of WZG Sandomierz booed when Grosso United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Bernad didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Zdzislaw Purzycki came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the WZG Sandomierz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zdzislaw Purzycki couldn't finish the play. Godofredo Manny hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. If Napoleon Odachowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Roch Marosz made a precise shot to the right of Saturnino Romo. Grosso United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Grosso United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for WZG Sandomierz.
