The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Marko Lindberg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of WZG Sandomierz's Wincenty Bielecki. Wincenty Bielecki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Witold Kazczyk fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored WZG Sandomierz's protests and gave Witold Kazczyk a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 played minutes WZG Sandomierz got a freekick which was hit by Witold Kazczyk. Wincenty Bielecki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marko Lindberg went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. WZG Sandomierz's Wincenty Bielecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Aspengren in the 13th minute of play. Martin Alegren hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After 18 minutes, Wasyl Juchno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the WZG Sandomierz and the Vännäsby BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Dariusz Kostrzewa fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored WZG Sandomierz's protests and gave Dariusz Kostrzewa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th minute, Dariusz Kostrzewa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Robert Aspengren notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of WZG Sandomierz's Wincenty Bielecki. Wincenty Bielecki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to WZG Sandomierz getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Napoleon Odachowski hit a great ball. With his leg Thor Frykberg managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when WZG Sandomierz's Roch Marosz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Napoleon Odachowski hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The WZG Sandomierz players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vännäsby BF were winning 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roch Marosz made a kick off. Thor Frykberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roch Marosz in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of Vännäsby BF booed when WZG Sandomierz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Napoleon Odachowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute of the match, Robert Aspengren got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wincenty Bielecki was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Napoleon Odachowski kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Wincenty Bielecki made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Marko Lindberg sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th minute, Martin Alegren reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wincenty Bielecki. The goal made the score 0-6. Marko Lindberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Wincenty Bielecki made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roch Marosz in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thor Frykberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kristian Skröder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Wincenty Bielecki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Zbigniew Pryputnicki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute Roch Marosz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thor Frykberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Åke Olsson charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Åke Olsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marko Lindberg in the 86th minute of play forced WZG Sandomierz's goalkeeper Wincenty Bielecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
