Moron's Archie McCracken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Fidensio in the 13th minute of play. Archie McCracken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascual Roldan, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 22nd minute, Nemesio Bernat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 de Abril Futbol Club's Maximo Mitxel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save 25 de Abril Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute of the match Dep. Moron got a corner. 25 de Abril Futbol Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gordon Ayala ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dep. Moron's Gordon Ayala was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Maximo Mitxel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dep. Moron's Lucas Palacios got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Casey Redmond might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximo Mitxel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Casey Redmond ran back to his position shaking his head. Enzo Jerrald kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Rashad Werner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maximo Mitxel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rashad Werner in the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th match minute, 25 de Abril Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Jerrald to maneuver through the defense. Lucas Palacios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Maximo Mitxel made a huge save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucas Palacios to make the kick off. In the 81st match minute, 25 de Abril Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Fidensio to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the 25 de Abril Futbol Club defense, Rashad Werner kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximo Mitxel. The 25 de Abril Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximo Mitxel should have stopped the shot. Moron players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
