Mariusz Dziedelonis started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's Ernesto Seme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zula Petrasz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Radomir Miecznikowski kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. With his leg Zula Petrasz managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's Ernesto Seme fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Estevez in the 17th minute of play forced Jagiellonia Bialystok's goalkeeper Zula Petrasz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Regis hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's Carlos Regis got a free kick in the 21st minute. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's zone, Lukasz Henryk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emiliano Eyague came out of the goal and Lukasz Henryk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jagiellonia Bialystok's Zula Petrasz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Jagiellonia Bialystok from getting a goal against them. Zula Petrasz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernesto Seme's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Ernesto Seme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Zula Petrasz made a huge save. In the 34th minute Waldemar Poniewaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Eyague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Jagiellonia Bialystok getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Mariusz Dziedelonis hit a great ball. Emiliano Eyague didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Waldemar Poniewaz went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernesto Seme was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Ernesto Seme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Klement Bury kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Salvador Arixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zula Petrasz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Seme in the 63rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Jagiellonia Bialystok's zone, Ricardo Estevez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zula Petrasz came out of the goal and Ricardo Estevez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zula Petrasz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernesto Seme's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. The supporters of C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA booed when Jagiellonia Bialystok was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustaw Majerowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Ernesto Seme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zula Petrasz was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Emiliano Eyague took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaw Majerowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 75 played minutes C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Firmin. 81 minutes into the game, Pastor Costante cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Zula Petrasz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Gustaw Majerowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jagiellonia Bialystok's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaw Majerowicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emiliano Eyague breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jagiellonia Bialystok's Zula Petrasz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Firmin in the 90th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Jagiellonia Bialystok was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomir Miecznikowski to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the game, Klement Bury was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jagiellonia Bialystok's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA the free kick. After 94 played minutes Jagiellonia Bialystok got a freekick which was hit by Klement Bury. Tomás Sauveur took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zula Petrasz. Zula Petrasz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Jagiellonia Bialystok's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
