With his leg Hortêncio Custódio managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when SAPRIMECKBEL's Fello Chavarria fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 7th match minute, BEST FABIO F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Guilherme Bertassi to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of SAPRIMECKBEL booed when BEST FABIO F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Guilherme Bertassi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fello Chavarria kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, BEST FABIO F.C.'s Arnaldo Cerezo got a free kick in the 14th minute. Fello Chavarria struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Hortêncio Custódio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAPRIMECKBEL. With an all-out effort, SAPRIMECKBEL's Hortêncio Custódio threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rex Serrano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Federico Vilchez had several of the BEST FABIO F.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 29 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Hortêncio Custódio as he didn't even see the shot coming. 36 minutes into the game, Rex Serrano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SAPRIMECKBEL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BEST FABIO F.C. the free kick. Rex Serrano kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute of the match Flavinho Netto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guillermo Araya showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of BEST FABIO F.C. booed when SAPRIMECKBEL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Rosabal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Guilherme Bertassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Guillermo Araya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Evandro Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute Rex Serrano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hortêncio Custódio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rex Serrano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ronaldão Salgado to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Teodoro Padilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guillermo Araya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglas Velloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the match, BEST FABIO F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Fello Chavarria came free, but Hortêncio Custódio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the BEST FABIO F.C. defense, Rex Serrano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hortêncio Custódio. The BEST FABIO F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hortêncio Custódio should have stopped the shot. Guillermo Araya made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Luiz Guilherme Bertassi sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute, Victor Thome hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute of the match Evandro Cunha sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guillermo Araya skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of SAPRIMECKBEL booed when BEST FABIO F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldão Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hortêncio Custódio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rex Serrano in the 72nd minute of play. Teodoro Padilla was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 75 minutes into the match. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SAPRIMECKBEL! Flavinho Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Hortêncio Custódio came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by SAPRIMECKBEL's Rex Serrano. But to his dismay, Rex Serrano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Guillermo Araya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme Bertassi in the 86th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Salvador Mata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnaldo Cerezo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Guillermo Araya skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rex Serrano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Ronaldão Salgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Federico Vilchez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Hortêncio Custódio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
