Ariel Iraido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zakariás Bíró having to interfere. Zakariás Bíró made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Iraido in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute István Tótfalusi suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 20 minutes, Damaso Crescencio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Defensores del Albinegro and the Szolnoki MÁV players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Defensores del Albinegro getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Damaso Crescencio hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute András Kis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Maore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ariel Iraido took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zakariás Bíró. Zakariás Bíró dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 35 played minutes Defensores del Albinegro got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Estebano. Cipriano Maore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from András Herczegh in the 40th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damaso Donostia during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Defensores del Albinegro getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Damaso Donostia hit a great ball. If Alejandro Eguen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ariel Iraido was the one to do the kick off. György Kaszás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Maore having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Ariel Iraido managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defensores del Albinegro's supporters rose to their feet, but Ariel Iraido was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zakariás Bíró breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Szolnoki MÁV booed when Defensores del Albinegro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damaso Donostia didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when András Kis got free with Cipriano Maore in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Silvano Licerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cipriano Maore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tibor Vadas in the 71st minute of play. Zakariás Bíró showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damaso Crescencio in the 73rd minute of the match. The supporters of Szolnoki MÁV booed when Defensores del Albinegro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Atauri didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Defensores del Albinegro's goalkeeper Cipriano Maore had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by András Kis. The Defensores del Albinegro fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Defensores del Albinegro's Ariel Iraido looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Defensores del Albinegro's Ariel Iraido got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 86 minutes, Damaso Crescencio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensores del Albinegro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damaso Crescencio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ariel Iraido blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zakariás Bíró having to make a save. In the 97th minute of the match, György Kaszás tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cipriano Maore saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Defensores del Albinegro were victorious despite being under pressure from Szolnoki MÁV for much of the match.
