In the 2nd match minute, Noroeste Paulista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitório Rezende to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pendotiba's goalkeeper Lucas Perez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 10th match minute, Pendotiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cacá Salles to maneuver through the defense. Gláuber Veloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Perez having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rômulo Nunes in the 16th minute of play forced Pendotiba's goalkeeper Lucas Perez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Gláuber Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Gláuber Veloso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucas Perez. Pendotiba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gláuber Veloso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 19 minutes into the game, Rômulo Pirani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Noroeste Paulista's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pendotiba the free kick. Rômulo Pirani hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Célio de Amaral charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Célio de Amaral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pendotiba booed when Noroeste Paulista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Célio de Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serafim Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Pendotiba getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Paulão Quirino hit a great ball. Lucas Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Goiano in the 30th minute of play. Noroeste Paulista's Rômulo Pirani got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Pendotiba getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Rony Trevisan hit a great ball. Lucas Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gláuber Veloso in the 39th minute of play. Gláuber Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Lucas Perez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodriguinho das Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafim Peres having to interfere. After the first half Noroeste Paulista were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gláuber Veloso made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match, Gláuber Veloso got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lucas Perez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Lucas Perez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Goiano in the 56th minute of the match. Dudu Palmeira got a throw-in 65 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Edgar Goiano. After 71 played minutes Pendotiba got a freekick which was hit by Murillo Carneiro. In the 78th minute Edgar Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Rômulo Nunes made a precise shot to the right of Lucas Perez. Pendotiba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Pendotiba's Paulão Quirino quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dudu Palmeira, made in the 84th minute of the game. Frédson Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 89thth minute of the game Ramiro Dias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Noroeste Paulista's Serafim Peres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pendotiba's attentive Paulão Quirino managed to snatch the ball when Dudu Palmeira made a throw-in in the 96th minute of the game.
