Tommie Kirkpatrick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zakariás Bíró having to interfere. Sanford Adkins charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sanford Adkins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th minute, Sanford Adkins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Creekers booed when Szolnoki MÁV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukács Antal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zakariás Bíró showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desmond Patterson in the 13th minute of the match. Tommie Kirkpatrick struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Zakariás Bíró didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Creekers. Desmond Patterson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 1-0 became the score in the 19th minute when György Kaszás elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Desmond Patterson in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zakariás Bíró saved Szolnoki MÁV from getting behind. In the 25th minute, Tommie Kirkpatrick got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zakariás Bíró showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommie Kirkpatrick, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Desmond Patterson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute, Tommie Kirkpatrick left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Creekers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Desmond Patterson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Zakariás Bíró tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Desmond Patterson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Desmond Patterson made a kick off. Tommie Kirkpatrick's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Zakariás Bíró skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 57 minutes into the match, Szolnoki MÁV's Csanád Újvári sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kip Connelly narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kip Connelly took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from András Galambos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Szolnoki MÁV's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Desmond Patterson scored to the left of an out of position Zakariás Bíró, making the score, 1-2. Creekers's attentive Tuan Tackett managed to snatch the ball when Tibor Vadas made a throw-in in the 69th minute of the game. Otto Bullard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Zakariás Bíró made a huge save. A collision led to Szolnoki MÁV getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Tibor Vadas hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Tommie Kirkpatrick could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Zakariás Bíró however easily saved by the left post. 77 minutes into the match, Szolnoki MÁV's goal looked a bit too open when Rashad Elliott came free, but Zakariás Bíró reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 79 played minutes Creekers got a freekick which was hit by Orville Perdue. Tuan Tackett hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Tommie Kirkpatrick got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. András Galambos hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rashad Elliott in the 90th minute of play forced Szolnoki MÁV's goalkeeper Zakariás Bíró to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Creekers's goal looked a bit too open when György Kaszás came free, but Kip Connelly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommie Kirkpatrick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Creekers's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
