Vítor Patrício made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 10thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Téo Maia would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. AD Pontassolense's Vladimiro Barroso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Ramos in the 12th minute of play. Joaquim Palhares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Téo Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernandão Branco charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernandão Branco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 21 minutes into the match, Joaquim Palhares dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Téo Maia, 1-0. Landulfos FC's Téo Maia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Landulfos FC from getting a goal against them. Téo Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Palhares in the 33rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Landulfos FC defense, Joaquim Palhares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Téo Maia. The Landulfos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Téo Maia should have stopped the shot. Landulfos FC's Téo Maia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Landulfos FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Landulfos FC's Joaquim Ramos got a free kick in the 45th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernandão Branco was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Fabinho Paraíba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Barroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 60 played minutes Landulfos FC got a freekick which was hit by Gualter Sergipano. A collision led to AD Pontassolense getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Rodrigo Amaro hit a great ball. In the 67th minute Joaquim Palhares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Téo Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vladimiro Barroso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arlindo Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Téo Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Palhares in the 78th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Landulfos FC's Arlindo Brasil dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. If Vítor Patrício had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
