Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Feliksas Ratkus successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 44th match minute, FK Mintis Vilnius was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukas Dunauskas to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Apolo Huly made a kick off. Apolo Huly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliksas Ratkus having to interfere. Feliksas Ratkus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Oriol in the 54th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Benedicto Oriol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Benedicto Oriol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Feliksas Ratkus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FK Mintis Vilnius booed when C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Escobar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ismael Haritzeder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vytenis Baltutis in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, C.S. y D. Ismael Haritzeder made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Vytenis Baltutis sent off a good shot on target.
