When Pannekoeken's Joeri Das in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye US DI BESTI FC's goalie prevented a goal. Stephan Overmars received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Agostinho Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martien Crans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agostinho Soares having to interfere. Joeri Das recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joeri Das received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Agostinho Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to US DI BESTI FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Rômulo de Barros hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Joeri Das's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Agostinho Soares was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. With a little luck, Pannekoeken's René Batum got control of the ball when Ramiro Leite tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Joeri Das fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pannekoeken's protests and gave Joeri Das a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 played minutes Pannekoeken got a freekick which was hit by Joeri Das. Harold Breugel hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Claudinei Campidelis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pannekoeken's René Batum didn't even have to move. Agostinho Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joeri Das in the 36th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Joeri Das's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Agostinho Soares was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. In the 43rd minute, Huub Barends hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joeri Das was the one to do the kick off. Joeri Das's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Agostinho Soares skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Agostinho Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joeri Das, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Stephan Overmars got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, US DI BESTI FC's Agostinho Soares got control of the ball when Martien Crans tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stephan Overmars fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agostinho Soares having to interfere. If Joeri Das had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joeri Das in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Agostinho Soares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 87 minutes into the match, US DI BESTI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joeri Das came free, but Agostinho Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joeri Das received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Agostinho Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramiro Leite hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Joeri Das took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Agostinho Soares to make any attempt to save it.
