Pepino’s was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Ovalle didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute Joeri Das shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandro Cabedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If César Gallardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Albino Ovalle hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Juan Jesus Sobuage kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, César Gallardo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. René Batum was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. C.D. Pepino’s's Juan Jesus Sobuage quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jan Kuiper, made in the 17th minute of the game. After some careless play in the C.D. Pepino’s defense, Martien Crans kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexandro Cabedo. The C.D. Pepino’s fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexandro Cabedo should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that César Gallardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but René Batum was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by César Gallardo in the 24th minute of play forced Pannekoeken's goalkeeper René Batum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandro Cabedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joeri Das, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Martien Crans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Alexandro Cabedo made a huge save. In the 32nd minute, Adelio Mitrovich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexandro Cabedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joeri Das, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Joeri Das sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when César Gallardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Dirk-Jan Vennegoor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandro Cabedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 54 minutes, Floris Abbenbroek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pannekoeken and the C.D. Pepino’s players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 54 played minutes Pannekoeken got a freekick which was hit by Floris Abbenbroek. In the 56th minute, Floris Abbenbroek made a precise shot to the right of Alexandro Cabedo. C.D. Pepino’s's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 63 minutes into the match, C.D. Pepino’s's goal looked a bit too open when Martien Crans came free, but Alexandro Cabedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandro Cabedo came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Pannekoeken's Joeri Das. But to his dismay, Joeri Das quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joeri Das in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexandro Cabedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alexandro Cabedo came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pannekoeken's Dirk-Jan Vennegoor. But to his dismay, Dirk-Jan Vennegoor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. The audience was convinced that César Gallardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but René Batum was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. C.D. Pepino’s's Alexandro Cabedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martien Crans in the 81st minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Constancio Vivero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.D. Pepino’s's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pannekoeken the free kick. Constancio Vivero hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Martien Crans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandro Cabedo having to interfere. Pannekoeken walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
