In the 4th match minute, Eleven Nation Army was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gösta Vallman to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute, Wiktor Jakobsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Olov Rosendal. The goal made the score 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Eleven Nation Army's goal looked a bit too open when Ted Högman came free, but Konrad Petersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, FC Hackspett U21's Ted Högman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Konrad Petersson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a rather tough play, FC Hackspett U21's Henric Rosen got a free kick in the 16th minute. With 18 minutes on the clock, Joakim Granberg commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Eleven Nation Army! Tor Källberg shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. A collision led to FC Hackspett U21 getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Arvid Malm hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Holger Brovall took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Olov Rosendal to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, FC Hackspett U21's Olov Rosendal got control of the ball when Holger Brovall tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Holger Brovall in the 35th minute of play forced FC Hackspett U21's goalkeeper Olov Rosendal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gösta Vallman kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Conny Widberg to make the kick off. Eleven Nation Army's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Ted Högman scored to the left of an out of position Konrad Petersson, making the score, 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Eleven Nation Army's zone, Tor Källberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Konrad Petersson came out of the goal and Tor Källberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to FC Hackspett U21 getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Henric Rosen hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the match, FC Hackspett U21's goal looked a bit too open when Holger Brovall came free, but Olov Rosendal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl-Ove Petersson during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 69 played minutes FC Hackspett U21 got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Ove Petersson. Eleven Nation Army's Patrik Lindqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ted Högman did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-3 to the left of a surprised Konrad Petersson 76 minutes into the match. After 86 played minutes FC Hackspett U21 got a freekick which was hit by Jakob Bergqvist. Conny Widberg's late challenge caught a FC Hackspett U21's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Conny Widberg helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Eleven Nation Army getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Conny Widberg hit a great ball. After 94 minutes, Ted Högman made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. Eleven Nation Army's Konrad Petersson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Eleven Nation Army lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
