Cafu Linares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Grant Leighton fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Tigers's protests and gave Grant Leighton a yellow card for diving instead. Grant Leighton hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The supporters of The Tigers booed when OTTO FC - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdir Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to OTTO FC - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Edgard Vasconcelos hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the game, Timothy Lemerond was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Vasconcelos couldn't finish the play. Franz Dunlop stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valdir Magalhães's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. One of OTTO FC - FSCMZ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of The Tigers:s goal. The referee gave The Tigers a penalty, 42 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Trey Ramsay, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Cafu Linares. 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valdir Magalhães was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, The Tigers's Fitz Swift got a free kick in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Vasconcelos in the 53rd minute of play forced The Tigers's goalkeeper Franz Dunlop to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Edgard Vasconcelos notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of The Tigers's Franz Dunlop. Franz Dunlop was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, The Tigers's Liam Clark got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After 82 minutes of play, OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Valdir Magalhães made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Franz Dunlop was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 94th minute, Valdir Magalhães left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The OTTO FC - FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-3. OTTO FC - FSCMZ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of The Tigers for a fine match.
