After a rather tough play, FC Blueskatterna's Ulrik Odman got a free kick in the 10th minute. Roger Barton scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christian Drewitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fraser Morgan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Christian Drewitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Drewitz made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Camron Collier sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in FC Blueskatterna's zone, Roger Barton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Drewitz came out of the goal and Roger Barton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Franz Dunlop showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Glanselius in the 23rd minute of the match. Olle Bogren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 27 minutes into the match, Roger Glanselius notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of The Tigers's Franz Dunlop. Franz Dunlop was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Roger Glanselius hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in The Tigers's zone, Roger Glanselius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franz Dunlop showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Glanselius in the 44th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fraser Morgan got free with Christian Drewitz in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Camron Collier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Christian Drewitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roger Glanselius made a kick off. Christian Drewitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fraser Morgan in the 57th minute of play. The Tigers's Fraser Morgan got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Elias Kiempe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the game, one of FC Blueskatterna:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Liam Clark shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 73rd minute Roger Barton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Drewitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Grant Leighton fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Tigers's protests and gave Grant Leighton a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, The Tigers's Grant Leighton got a free kick in the 75th minute. 85 minutes into the match, FC Blueskatterna's goal looked a bit too open when Camron Collier came free, but Christian Drewitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Drewitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fraser Morgan in the 88th minute of the match. In the 99th minute, The Tigers's Rod Walters seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rod Walters the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of The Tigers protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rod Walters had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 98th minute of the game. One of The Tigers:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Blueskatterna:s goal. Karl-Oskar Back walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Blueskatterna players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for The Tigers.
