Melquiades Patxi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romulo Jobo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 26 minutes into the game, Depor Alex Return's Nicolas Ihazintu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Melquiades Patxi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 29th match minute, Depor Alex Return was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Fidencio to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Rafael Clodio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benedicto Beremundo was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. In the 35thth minute of the game Rafael Clodio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Depor Alex Return's Benedicto Beremundo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maximo Bide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Beremundo having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicolas Ihazintu to strike the kick off in the second half. Zacarias Unax kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 58th minute Rafael Clodio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Beremundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, EL PEPO FC's Rafael Clodio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. When Luis Fidencio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. After 82 played minutes Depor Alex Return got a freekick which was hit by Luis Fidencio. When Edgard Herauso came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the EL PEPO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Herauso couldn't finish the play. Depor Alex Return's Romulo Jobo got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Depor Alex Return getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Romulo Jobo hit a great ball. In the 95th match minute, Depor Alex Return was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarias Unax to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. EL PEPO FC fully deserved thier win.
