Amancio Magdaleno received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marciano Hever came out and tried to block the shot, but Amancio Magdaleno slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 13th minute. In the 18th minute, Miguel Jenaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marciano Hever made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erasmo Fernendo in the 23rd minute. Jeremias Confesor hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Marciano Hever showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erasmo Fernendo, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Erasmo Fernendo hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Blas Uzuri in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramon Calvino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 42 minutes into the game, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Jeremias Confesor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marciano Hever made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Perrucho FC's Jimeno Haimar pulled a muscle in his back after 46 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Perrucho FC made a substitution. Isaac Maldonado replaced Jimeno Haimar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Marciano Hever took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Fernendo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florentino Blasco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramon Calvino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of NEWELL´S OLD BOYS booed when Perrucho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Galoer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute of the match Leandro Ignazio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marciano Hever skillfully saved the ball. Florentino Blasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Florentino Blasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 minutes, Jeremias Confesor made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Perrucho FC's Marciano Hever tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amancio Magdaleno in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marciano Hever saved Perrucho FC from getting behind. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
