The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruce Vogt in the 33rd minute of play forced NANANANA LIIIDEER FC's goalkeeper Leo Herrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Cristian Abeijon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Robbie Kaufman. The goal made the score 1-2. Tango en Miami FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Siro Lapurdi scored to the left of an out of position Robbie Kaufman, making the score, 2-2. Robbie Kaufman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siro Lapurdi, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. A collision led to NANANANA LIIIDEER FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Felix Ihazintu hit a great ball. Wilson Short fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Herrera having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Roberto Cummins made the kick off in the second half. When Tango en Miami FC's Roberto Cummins in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Wilson Short could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Leo Herrera made a huge save. 69 minutes into the game, Edmund Rowan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tango en Miami FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NANANANA LIIIDEER FC the free kick. The supporters of NANANANA LIIIDEER FC booed when Tango en Miami FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Rowan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnaldo Eliu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Robbie Kaufman. Tango en Miami FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 73rd minute Baldomiro Toribio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robbie Kaufman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Edmund Rowan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 75 minutes had been played. In the 76th match minute, Tango en Miami FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmund Rowan to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute, Siro Lapurdi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robbie Kaufman was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-3. In the 80th minute Israel Urritz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robbie Kaufman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, NANANANA LIIIDEER FC's Arnaldo Eliu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Wilson Short sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robbie Kaufman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomiro Toribio, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute, Israel Urritz made a precise shot to the right of Robbie Kaufman. Tango en Miami FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-3. After some careless play in the Tango en Miami FC defense, Siro Lapurdi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robbie Kaufman. The Tango en Miami FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robbie Kaufman should have stopped the shot. Robbie Kaufman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Urritz in the 95th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tango en Miami FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for NANANANA LIIIDEER FC.
