Spectators: 7487 (Terracing: 5616, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) O.T.E's Antonis Klinakis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Antonis Klinakis sped through Li Archibugieri's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Filippo Diana. After a rather tough play, Li Archibugieri's Ermanno Fracassi got a free kick in the 13th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Thodoris Karnezis managed to get in a good position for a shot. O.T.E's supporters rose to their feet, but Thodoris Karnezis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filippo Diana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute, Antonis Klinakis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Filippo Diana. The goal made the score 3-0. O.T.E's Nikos Tavlaridis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristoforo Sammartano in the 22nd minute of play. Filippo Diana was a little too slow when Antonis Klinakis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 4-0. Fondas Psomas hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the match, O.T.E's goal looked a bit too open when Felice Egidi came free, but Nikos Tavlaridis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Antonis Klinakis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Filippo Diana. The goal made the score 5-0. In the 42nd match minute, O.T.E was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thodoris Karnezis to maneuver through the defense.

Filippo Diana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonis Klinakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64thth minute of the game Antonis Klinakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Li Archibugieri's Filippo Diana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The O.T.E fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when O.T.E's Antonis Klinakis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Antonis Klinakis put it in 7-1 from a short distance just to the right of Filippo Diana. In the 75th minute Antonis Klinakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filippo Diana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonis Klinakis in the 81st minute of play forced Li Archibugieri's goalkeeper Filippo Diana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Li Archibugieri's Beppe Luongo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Theofilos Chronatos, made in the 83rd minute of the game. 85 minutes into the match, O.T.E's goalkeeper Nikos Tavlaridis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emilio Anzolin. Thodoris Karnezis struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Filippo Diana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for O.T.E. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felice Egidi in the 90th minute of play forced O.T.E's goalkeeper Nikos Tavlaridis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonis Klinakis in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filippo Diana prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
