The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernesto Vitelli during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With an all-out effort, CAN ERZURUM's Fulvio Calabrese threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bilgin Yenisey, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 14th minute Atalan Yalın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulvio Calabrese saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Aldo Crema was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ugonotti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CAN ERZURUM the free kick. The supporters of CAN ERZURUM booed when Ugonotti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Crema didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bilgehan Kiray during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bilgin Yenisey made a kick off. Atalan Yalın charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Atalan Yalın the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 52 played minutes CAN ERZURUM got a freekick which was hit by Atalan Yalın. Ugonotti's Aldo Crema got his second yellow card of the match in the 55th minute. The referee ordered Aldo Crema off the ground. Aldo Crema kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute of the match Ümit Zeren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fulvio Calabrese showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fulvio Calabrese came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by CAN ERZURUM's Bilgin Yenisey. But to his dismay, Bilgin Yenisey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ugonotti's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
