Spectators: 7459 (Terracing: 5595, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dino Cimino started the match with the kick off. Emiliano Grossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thys Van Bockorst in the 6th minute of the match. Waut Goons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Concetto Spinelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Sporting Mambo's Etienne Ottevaere seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Etienne Ottevaere the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sporting Mambo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Etienne Ottevaere had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Villa Gordiani booed when Sporting Mambo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Etienne Ottevaere didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yoachim Fondria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emiliano Grossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thys Van Bockorst in the 19th minute of play. After some careless play in the Sporting Mambo defense, Dino Cimino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waut Goons. The Sporting Mambo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waut Goons should have stopped the shot. In the 26th minute, Sporting Mambo's Yoachim Fondria dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 32nd minute, Dino Cimino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Villa Gordiani's Emiliano Grossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thys Van Bockorst in the 33rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hans Van Der Meren got free with Emiliano Grossi in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emiliano Grossi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yoachim Fondria in the 39th minute. Sporting Mambo's Waut Goons played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Concetto Spinelli in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Sporting Mambo's goal looked a bit too open when Dino Cimino came free, but Waut Goons reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yoachim Fondria got free with Emiliano Grossi in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thys Van Bockorst to strike the kick off in the second half. Villa Gordiani's Emiliano Grossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yoachim Fondria in the 52nd minute of play. In the 52nd minute, Concetto Spinelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emiliano Grossi came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Mambo's Thys Van Bockorst. But to his dismay, Thys Van Bockorst quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yoachim Fondria in the 58th minute of play forced Villa Gordiani's goalkeeper Emiliano Grossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Yoachim Fondria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Sporting Mambo getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Glen de Pelsmaecker hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Ferruccio Gelsomini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Sporting Mambo getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Gustave Andriesens hit a great ball. Waut Goons showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Cimino in the 75th minute of the match. Hans Van Der Meren charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hans Van Der Meren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Villa Gordiani booed when Sporting Mambo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Van Der Meren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hans Van Der Meren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Harold Engelborgh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Thys Van Bockorst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sporting Mambo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
