Gilvan de Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Higinio Gonzales showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilvan de Lara in the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Eneas in the 19th minute of play forced AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's goalkeeper Thomás Vides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th match minute, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Juvenal to maneuver through the defense. After 28 played minutes BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Eneas. If Faustino Eneas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo José das Neves hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's Gilvan de Lara ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Higinio Gonzales. Higinio Gonzales yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Faustino Eneas to make the kick off. Gilvan de Lara struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Higinio Gonzales didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ. After 52 minutes of play, AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's Ulisses Marquez made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Higinio Gonzales was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 56th minute, Romulo Juvenal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's attentive Lisandro Aresti managed to snatch the ball when Sidney de Amorim made a throw-in in the 60th minute of the game. The throw-in from Sidney de Amorim in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Lisandro Aresti. Dudu Sanches hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Romulo Juvenal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomás Vides having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulisses Marquez during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's zone, Romulo Juvenal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomás Vides came out of the goal and Romulo Juvenal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's Thomás Vides proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ from getting a goal against them. A collision led to BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Silvestre Niguel hit a great ball. 4-2 became the score in the 81st minute when Ulisses Marquez elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 84 played minutes AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Paulo José das Neves. Higinio Gonzales showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilvan de Lara in the 91st minute of the match. Higinio Gonzales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dudu Sanches, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB were furious when Vicente Lizardi was red carded, 96 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 95th minute, one of BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB. The referee gave AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ a penalty, 98 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sidney de Amorim, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Higinio Gonzales. 5-2. AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
