In the 3rdth minute of the game Lazar Mandić who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Club Sicilia's Enzo De Vecchis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Enzo De Vecchis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simon Belić went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 8 played minutes GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ got a freekick which was hit by Domagoj Tkalec. Amos Giusto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robert Palunko having to make a save. Enzo De Vecchis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Belić in the 13th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 16 minutes into the game, when Leonardo Spinazzola put in a rough tackle. In the 17th match minute, Sporting Club Sicilia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Spinazzola to maneuver through the defense. When Lazar Mandić fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s protests and gave Lazar Mandić a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st minute, Đuro Ožbolt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the game, Lazar Mandić cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Enzo De Vecchis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Enzo De Vecchis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simon Belić went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Enzo De Vecchis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lazar Mandić, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Enzo De Vecchis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Đuro Ožbolt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Zrinko Pigac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Đuro Ožbolt made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Sporting Club Sicilia's Enzo De Vecchis got control of the ball when Lazar Mandić tried to sneak it across the goal line. 52 minutes into the game, Daniele De Matteis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting Club Sicilia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ the free kick. Lazar Mandić took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enzo De Vecchis. Enzo De Vecchis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. After a rather tough play, Sporting Club Sicilia's Flavio Calcio got a free kick in the 57th minute. GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Zrinko Pigac couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sporting Club Sicilia. Đuro Ožbolt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Enzo De Vecchis came out and tried to block the shot, but Đuro Ožbolt slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 60th minute. Enzo De Vecchis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zrinko Pigac, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After a rather tough play, GNK Dinamo Zagreb™'s Simon Belić got a free kick in the 68th minute. Robert Palunko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gianluca Scamacca, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Đuro Ožbolt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enzo De Vecchis. Gabrijel Drenovac struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Enzo De Vecchis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GNK Dinamo Zagreb™. Enzo De Vecchis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miomir Mesarić, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 93rd minute Simon Belić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo De Vecchis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Sporting Club Sicilia getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Augusto Di Fabrizio hit a great ball. When the match was over GNK Dinamo Zagreb™ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sporting Club Sicilia throughout the match.
