Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bayhan Şennur started the match with the kick off. 8 minutes into the match, AC Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Bayhan Şennur came free, but Kostas Tsioris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Baturhan Şahinalp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Kostas Tsioris was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Trabzon booed when AC Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diogenis Nestorakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23 minutes of play, Trabzon's Hıncal Cezlan made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kostas Tsioris was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 31st minute Petros Malioufas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuh Akkuş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ceyhun Cihanmert lost his temper 36 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of Trabzon:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AC Milan:s goal. After a defensive mix-up in AC Milan's zone, Hıncal Cezlan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kostas Tsioris came out of the goal and Hıncal Cezlan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nuh Akkuş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petros Malioufas, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Nuh Akkuş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konstantinos Triantafyllopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hıncal Cezlan hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Petros Malioufas to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Petros Malioufas managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Milan's supporters rose to their feet, but Petros Malioufas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuh Akkuş breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 58 minutes, Hıncal Cezlan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trabzon and the AC Milan players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th match minute, Trabzon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hıncal Cezlan to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Diogenis Nestorakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. kaya Tümerdem's late challenge caught a AC Milan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee showed Lemi Balcı the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of AC Milan booed when Trabzon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lemi Balcı didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baturhan Şahinalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Petros Malioufas put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Nuh Akkuş. There was no doubt that Trabzon were the better team. Trabzon's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
