An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Urre in the 3rd minute of play forced Tirant lo Blanch's goalkeeper Domeka Talavera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. García Gonzalvez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Tirant lo Blanch booed when ♦Diabetes♦ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Oliverio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domeka Talavera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Urre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Felix Urre notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Tirant lo Blanch's Domeka Talavera. Domeka Talavera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Norberto Jatsu charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Norberto Jatsu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Norberto Jatsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd match minute, Tirant lo Blanch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Cabezas to maneuver through the defense. Ivón Barroso charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivón Barroso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes Tirant lo Blanch got a freekick which was hit by Ivón Barroso. After a rather tough play, ♦Diabetes♦'s Felix Urre got a free kick in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felix Urre was the one to do the kick off. Felix Urre took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Domeka Talavera. Domeka Talavera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Domeka Talavera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Urre in the 56th minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Anxelu Casillas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Tirant lo Blanch's García Gonzalvez got a free kick in the 73rd minute. When Ivón Barroso was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 74 minutes had been played. In the 78th minute of the match, Felix Urre got a very nice opportunity to score, but Domeka Talavera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 79 minutes into the match, ♦Diabetes♦'s goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Zapater came free, but Santiago Urtsin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Jorge Diegotxe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. García Gonzalvez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Santiago Urtsin. ♦Diabetes♦'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 85th minute of the match, Felix Urre got a very nice opportunity to score, but Domeka Talavera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 91st minute, Felix Urre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ♦Diabetes♦ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After a rather tough play, ♦Diabetes♦'s Fausto Iraunkor got a free kick in the 97th minute. When the match was over ♦Diabetes♦ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tirant lo Blanch throughout the match.
