Geraldo Poças came out of the goal and Dráuzio Faria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dráuzio Faria got free with Geraldo Poças in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dráuzio Faria received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Geraldo Poças came out and tried to block the shot, but Dráuzio Faria slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 75th minute. Gernando Galvão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidónio Quental, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Dráuzio Faria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Geraldo Poças made a huge save.
