Spectators: 7467 (Terracing: 5601, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tim Zondervan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bram de Backer came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Matadores FC's Olavo Barbosa. But to his dismay, Olavo Barbosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 6 minutes, Alex Félix mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matadores FC and the De Ontembare Leeuwen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alex Félix kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Tim Zondervans short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Paulo da Silva to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bram de Backer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olavo Barbosa went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Rafa Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, Olavo Barbosa notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of De Ontembare Leeuwen's Bram de Backer. Bram de Backer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 31 minutes into the match, Matadores FC's Olavo Barbosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bram de Backer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bram de Backer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olavo Barbosa in the 32nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Matadores FC's zone, Mitchell Terpstra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo da Silva came out of the goal and Mitchell Terpstra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hans Kuypers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilfred Tollenaar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Paulo da Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olavo Barbosa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Tim Zondervan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo da Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 61 minutes, Rinus Ronde managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Ontembare Leeuwen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rinus Ronde was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Hans Kuypers came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the De Ontembare Leeuwen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans Kuypers couldn't finish the play. Paulo da Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tim Zondervan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. De Ontembare Leeuwen's Mitchell Terpstra got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Mitchell Terpstra came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the De Ontembare Leeuwen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mitchell Terpstra couldn't finish the play. In the 79th minute, André Luís Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the match, Matadores FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rinus Ronde came free, but Paulo da Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo da Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfred Tollenaar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Alexander Fransen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see De Ontembare Leeuwen lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
