In the 22nd minute, Sidónio Quental made a precise shot to the right of Max De Paredes. ORION F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julio Mora got free with Geraldo Poças in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute, Radamel Falcao made a precise shot to the right of Max De Paredes. ORION F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The supporters of FC Beatriz 08 booed when ORION F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Herrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mário Rodrigues fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Beatriz 08's protests and gave Mário Rodrigues a yellow card for diving instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Radamel Falcao to strike the kick off in the second half. Max De Paredes made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Radamel Falcao sent off a good shot on target. When Juan Briceño came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the ORION F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Briceño couldn't finish the play. FC Beatriz 08's Radamel Falcao got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Max De Paredes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gervásio Mourato in the 79th minute. A collision led to FC Beatriz 08 getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. When the final whistle sounded FC Beatriz 08 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ORION F.C..
