The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo da Silva showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fábio Machado in the 12th minute of play forced Matadores FC's goalkeeper Paulo da Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matadores FC's Paulo da Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dráuzio Paraíba in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of 100 Chance booed when Matadores FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélio Maciel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Matadores FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Meneses came free, but Paulo da Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filipe Meneses scored 1-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo da Silva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 28 minutes into the match, Matadores FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dráuzio Paraíba came free, but Paulo da Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo da Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fábio Machado in the 33rd minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olavo Barbosa made a kick off. The 100 Chance fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when 100 Chance's Filipe Meneses looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Paulo da Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Meneses, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute Olavo Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Cerezo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo da Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Meneses in the 66th minute of play. Filipe Meneses received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Paulo da Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But to his dismay, Filipe Meneses quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Paulo da Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Meneses in the 94th minute of the match.
