Jessie Amos came out of the goal and Natalio Laurin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alberto Calvino struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Jessie Amos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cachiyuyo EAS. After a rather tough play, Charlotte FC's Johnathan Mohr got a free kick in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Charlotte FC's goal looked a bit too open when Natalio Laurin came free, but Jessie Amos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnoldo Weterio charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnoldo Weterio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Charlotte FC's Jessie Amos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natalio Laurin in the 39th minute of play. Bonifacio Cutberto charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bonifacio Cutberto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bonifacio Cutberto kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Natalio Laurin to strike the kick off in the second half. Alberto Calvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Jessie Amos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Charlotte FC's Percy Mahoney got a free kick in the 59th minute. Natalio Laurin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 62 played minutes Charlotte FC got a freekick which was hit by Dalton Ash. Cachiyuyo EAS's Bonifacio Cutberto got his second yellow card of the match in the 64th minute. The referee ordered Bonifacio Cutberto off the ground. In the 65th minute, Bonifacio Cutberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natalio Laurin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jessie Amos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Natalio Laurin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jessie Amos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Laurin in the 86th minute of the match. Arnoldo Weterio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jessie Amos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Charlotte FC defense, Leo Osoitz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jessie Amos. The Charlotte FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jessie Amos should have stopped the shot.
