Paulo da Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo da Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidónio Quental, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Beatriz 08 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! After 47 played minutes Matadores FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Quadros. Paulo da Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Macena in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roberto Pinhal was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match, Gregório Brochado got a very nice opportunity to score, but Paulo da Silva was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Roberto Pinhal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Paulo da Silva made a huge save. FC Beatriz 08's Domingos Estrela shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 57th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Paulo da Silva but with some difficulty. Geraldo Poças made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olavo Barbosa in the 59th minute of play. In the 59th match minute, FC Beatriz 08 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregório Brochado to maneuver through the defense. Olavo Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Olavo Barbosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geraldo Poças was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 74 minutes into the match, Matadores FC's goalkeeper Paulo da Silva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sidónio Quental. A collision led to FC Beatriz 08 getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Alexandre Garcia hit a great ball. Luiz Pereira hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Paulo da Silva was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roberto Pinhal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 82 minute of play. Gervásio Mourato hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Alex Félix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geraldo Poças having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Matadores FC fully deserved thier win.
