The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marinus de Jong to strike the kick off in the second half. When Delmar Santiago fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 17 de enero team's protests and gave Delmar Santiago a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, 17 de enero team's Blas Eusko ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leendert Oortwijn. Leendert Oortwijn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-5. Cees Mol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Alfonso having to interfere. Tomás Alfonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marinus de Jong in the 64th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Corné Diggele notched a goal, 4-5, to the right of 17 de enero team's Tomás Alfonso. Tomás Alfonso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, 17 de enero team's Emiliano Lawrence got a free kick in the 74th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Osdorp FC's Wim Drent sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomás Alfonso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cees Mol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Alfonso having to interfere. Osdorp FC's Leendert Oortwijn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Osdorp FC from getting a goal against them. Corné Diggele recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Benat in the 91st minute of play forced Osdorp FC's goalkeeper Leendert Oortwijn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Osdorp FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
