Spectators: 7542 (Terracing: 5658, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) Fc Meremõisa's Tom Nuut started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Ando Looga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Sonstorps Fotboll getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Torsten Haraldsson hit a great ball. Fc Meremõisa's Tom Nuut managed to work through Sonstorps Fotboll's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Tom Nuut dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Urmas Tohter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olof Arvidsson in the 14th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Sonstorps Fotboll got a freekick which was hit by Alfons Sjögren. Ulrik Isaksson's late challenge caught a Fc Meremõisa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulrik Isaksson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Fc Meremõisa booed when Sonstorps Fotboll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulrik Isaksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tom Nuut who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Jens-Ola Mellberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Tom Nuut sped through Sonstorps Fotboll's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jens-Ola Mellberg. In the 26th match minute, Sonstorps Fotboll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olof Arvidsson to maneuver through the defense. When Tom Nuut fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc Meremõisa's protests and gave Tom Nuut a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes Fc Meremõisa got a freekick which was hit by Tom Nuut. After a rather tough play, Fc Meremõisa's Mehis Kluge got a free kick in the 35th minute. Jens-Ola Mellberg didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 38th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Thanks to some nice moves Tom Nuut could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Jens-Ola Mellberg however easily saved by the left post. In the 44th minute Paavo Ludri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Ola Mellberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernst Elu kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Urmas Tohter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulrik Isaksson in the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulrik Isaksson was the one to do the kick off. In the 60th match minute, Sonstorps Fotboll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfons Sjögren to maneuver through the defense. Tom Nuut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jens-Ola Mellberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Ulrik Isaksson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Urmas Tohter was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 68 minutes into the match, Tom Nuut had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jens-Ola Mellberg. Sonstorps Fotboll's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tom Nuut was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Rando Saari struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Jens-Ola Mellberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Meremõisa. Fc Meremõisa's Urmas Tohter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Fc Meremõisa from getting a goal against them. In the 90th match minute, Fc Meremõisa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rainer Pahapill to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Tom Nuut made a precise shot to the right of Jens-Ola Mellberg. Sonstorps Fotboll's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. In the 96th minute, Alfons Sjögren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sonstorps Fotboll's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
