De Kasteelheren's Bernard Mülder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taaniel Aron in the 13th minute of play. Werner Weken kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Tom Nuut took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernard Mülder. Bernard Mülder dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 21 minutes into the match, De Kasteelheren's goal looked a bit too open when Paavo Ludri came free, but Bernard Mülder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Fc Meremõisa fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Fc Meremõisa's Tom Nuut looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Urmas Tohter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olof Rijaard in the 24th minute of play. Olof Rijaard struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Urmas Tohter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De Kasteelheren. De Kasteelheren's Bernard Mülder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tom Nuut in the 27th minute of play. Bernard Mülder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tom Nuut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rainer Pahapill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tom Nuut took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernard Mülder. Bernard Mülder dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. In the 36th match minute, De Kasteelheren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olof Rijaard to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute of the match Kaur Toompere shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernard Mülder showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rainer Pahapill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernard Mülder having to interfere. Urmas Tohter came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by De Kasteelheren's Erwin Lanting. But to his dismay, Erwin Lanting quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. Pieter-Jan Staarman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 4-4 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Fc Meremõisa made a substitution. Rando Saari replaced Paavo Ludri. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olof Rijaard was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Olof Rijaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Kasteelheren's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olof Rijaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 53rd minute, Werner Weken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Fc Meremõisa defense, Olof Rijaard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Urmas Tohter. The Fc Meremõisa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Urmas Tohter should have stopped the shot. After 59 played minutes De Kasteelheren got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Bosstraeten. A collision led to Fc Meremõisa getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Rando Saari hit a great ball. Urmas Tohter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olof Rijaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rando Saari in the 63rd minute of play forced De Kasteelheren's goalkeeper Bernard Mülder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, De Kasteelheren's goalkeeper Bernard Mülder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tom Nuut. Urmas Tohter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erwin Lanting, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute.
