Ronny Colen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Franklin Polo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Maurits Apotheker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enrique Lemus was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. 24 minutes into the match, NFC Eagles 22's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Areta came free, but Billy Korf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Taltum FC's Enrique Lemus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Taltum FC from getting a goal against them. NFC Eagles 22 were furious when Jurre van der Werff was red carded, 45 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 46 played minutes NFC Eagles 22 got a freekick which was hit by Jurre van der Werff. Billy Korf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito Areta in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vito Areta made a kick off. Billy Korf was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Franklin Polo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 51 minute of play. In the 54th minute Franklin Polo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billy Korf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 55 played minutes NFC Eagles 22 got a freekick which was hit by Maurice Spiering. Billy Korf was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rodas Valdivieso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 67 minute of play. In the 74th minute, Handi Harri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NFC Eagles 22 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Handi Harri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Taltum FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Edson Berinduaga hit a great ball. Ronny Colen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Lemus having to interfere. NFC Eagles 22's Billy Korf proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save NFC Eagles 22 from getting a goal against them. Timmie Wieringh's late challenge caught a Taltum FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Timmie Wieringh helped the player get up and apologised. 96 minutes into the match, Vito Areta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Billy Korf. NFC Eagles 22's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vito Areta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Taltum FC played a much better game than NFC Eagles 22 and deserved their victory. The NFC Eagles 22 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
