Rudolf Söderberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustavo Corrêa went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Buksvinens IF's Rudolf Söderberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dráuzio Tasso in the 15th minute of play. Dedé Loyola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Söderberg having to interfere. Buksvinens IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bezerros EC the free kick. Gustavo Corrêa took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rudolf Söderberg. Rudolf Söderberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovânio Camargo in the 47th minute of play forced Buksvinens IF's goalkeeper Rudolf Söderberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

After a defensive mix-up in Buksvinens IF's zone, Geovânio Camargo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rudolf Söderberg came out of the goal and Geovânio Camargo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustavo Corrêa in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rudolf Söderberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 59 minutes, Dedé Loyola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bezerros EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dedé Loyola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rudolf Söderberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Corrêa in the 62nd minute of the match. Morgan Bengtsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Gino Brito made a huge save. In the 94th match minute, Buksvinens IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ove Pettersson to maneuver through the defense. When Gustavo Corrêa came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Bezerros EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Corrêa couldn't finish the play. Bezerros EC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
