Billy Korf didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karim Rusch went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Dé Baron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Remo Steingher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Timmie Wieringh during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee felt a red card was in order, 30 minutes into the game, when Timmie Wieringh put in a rough tackle. Marc Greub shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After 33 played minutes NFC Eagles 22 got a freekick which was hit by Maurits Apotheker. After a rather tough play, NFC Eagles 22's Handi Harri got a free kick in the 36th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of NFC Eagles 22:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chancy Olympique:s goal. The goalkeeper, Billy Korf, was totally fooled by Chancy Olympique's Marc Greub, who 40 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dé Baron stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes NFC Eagles 22 got a freekick which was hit by Christiaan Been. After 90 minutes of play, Chancy Olympique's Zelimir Marty made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Billy Korf was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Dé Baron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Chancy Olympique walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
