Spectators: 7514 (Terracing: 5636, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lennart Lundhberg started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Belchior Ribas during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th minute, Belchior Ribas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. António Mendes took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl-Johan Åkerström. Karl-Johan Åkerström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Pauliström's Karl-Johan Åkerström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belchior Ribas in the 14th minute of play. The corner ended in Belchior Ribas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pauliström's Karl-Johan Åkerström did a great save. In the 17th minute, Benjamin Löfgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Johan Åkerström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Mendes in the 18th minute of the match. After 20 minutes Pauliström's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Belchior Ribas who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Belchior Ribas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Karl-Johan Åkerström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frederico Campelo in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Johan Åkerström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 22 minutes into the match, António Mendes notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Pauliström's Karl-Johan Åkerström. Karl-Johan Åkerström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jörgen Hammarberg kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the game, Academia Monte Gordo's António Mendes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl-Johan Åkerström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Belchior Ribas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Johan Åkerström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 played minutes Pauliström got a freekick which was hit by Eric Holmgren. Belchior Ribas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Karl-Johan Åkerström. Pauliström's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Claudemiro Aveiro kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Belchior Ribas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Academia Monte Gordo's supporters rose to their feet, but Belchior Ribas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Johan Åkerström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Belchior Ribas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Academia Monte Gordo's supporters rose to their feet, but Belchior Ribas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Johan Åkerström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karl-Johan Åkerström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Mendes in the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for António Mendes to strike the kick off in the second half. Sabino Valverde hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Academia Monte Gordo's António Mendes got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karl-Johan Åkerström made an important save on a dangerous shot by António Mendes in the 61st minute. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Karl-Johan Åkerström successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mateus Teves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lennart Lundhberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute, Roy Kiempe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. António Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lennart Lundhberg kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 75th match minute, Pauliström was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Granqvist to maneuver through the defense. Belchior Ribas was extremely unlucky when he, in the 77th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 82nd minute, Ingvar Apelquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Belchior Ribas put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Karl-Johan Åkerström. António Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Lundhberg in the 97th minute of play forced Academia Monte Gordo's goalkeeper Mateus Teves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pauliström's John Granqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
