Karl-Johan Åkerström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacarias Eyague, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Baldomero Frantzes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jörgen Hammarberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Frantzes having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zacarias Eyague made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Pauliström's Linus Vollander got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Augusto Sanchez might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl-Johan Åkerström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Augusto Sanchez ran back to his position shaking his head. 56 minutes into the match, Pauliström's Linus Vollander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baldomero Frantzes narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
