The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zelg FC's Feodor Thelen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marek Kasprzykowski in the 3rd minute of play. Feodor Thelen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafał Wern in the 19th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Rafał Wern managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mauro's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafał Wern was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feodor Thelen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mauro's Tanek Major proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Mauro from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrico Vogt got free with Tanek Major in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tanek Major made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hannes Gerig in the 45th minute of play. Tanek Major was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Yannis Perathoner showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 46 minute of play.

Rafał Wern hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Tanek Major took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrico Vogt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hannes Gerig in the 73rd minute of play forced Mauro's goalkeeper Tanek Major to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tanek Major showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hannes Gerig, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Zelg FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mauro the free kick. In the 83rd minute, one of Zelg FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Zelg FC. The goalkeeper, Feodor Thelen, was totally fooled by Mauro's Igor Zielinski, who 85 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 89th minute, Hannes Gerig ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tanek Major was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Bartlomiej Dziuma lost his temper 94 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 94th minute, Bartlomiej Dziuma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Radoslaw Zagrobelny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
