RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roldan Ybarra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Constantino Manny managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's Roldan Ybarra fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Aragón Gili didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fidel Pietro went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 15th match minute, RomoLerouX UniteD UXX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Herezuelo to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Candelario Corte notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Vélez Juniors's Constantino Manny. Constantino Manny was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 21st minute Fidel Pietro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aragón Gili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Constantino Manny made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pepito Nobal in the 28th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pepito Nobal got free with Constantino Manny in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 31 minutes into the match, Vélez Juniors's goalkeeper Constantino Manny had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pepito Nobal. Emilio Serafo kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. A well placed Candelario Corte short distance shot in the 34th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Constantino Manny was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Pepito Nobal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pepito Nobal really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. The supporters of Vélez Juniors booed when RomoLerouX UniteD UXX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roldan Ybarra didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute, Eduardo Herezuelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's Aragón Gili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Gaspard in the 41st minute of play.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rogelio Madeo to strike the kick off in the second half. Mendoza Unceta took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Constantino Manny. Constantino Manny dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Ulises Cristofol hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. RomoLerouX UniteD UXX were furious when Checa Garaizabal was red carded, 65 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 64 minutes into the game, one of RomoLerouX UniteD UXX:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Fidel Pietro walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 67 minutes into the game, Eduardo Herezuelo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vélez Juniors the free kick. Eduardo Herezuelo kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roldan Ybarra in the 69th minute of play forced Vélez Juniors's goalkeeper Constantino Manny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. RomoLerouX UniteD UXX made a substitution. Venerando Biñuela replaced Eduardo Herezuelo. 78 minutes into the game, Venerando Biñuela was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vélez Juniors the free kick. In the 78th minute, Venerando Biñuela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 79 played minutes, Vélez Juniors's Florentino Gaspard shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aragón Gili came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vélez Juniors reached it. RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's Aragón Gili proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save RomoLerouX UniteD UXX from getting a goal against them. Candelario Corte hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The supporters of Vélez Juniors booed when RomoLerouX UniteD UXX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venerando Biñuela didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's Roldan Ybarra broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 97th minute Florentino Gaspard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aragón Gili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vélez Juniors players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for RomoLerouX UniteD UXX.
