But to his dismay, Toninho Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, El Stradivarius's goal looked a bit too open when Edu de Queiroz came free, but Melchor Medero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Paulo Leme's late challenge caught a El Stradivarius's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Paulo Leme helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th minute, José Paulo Leme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. El Stradivarius's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tabajara Londrina LBFC the free kick. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Toninho Castro to make the kick off. A collision led to El Stradivarius getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Marcos Daunte hit a great ball. If Cirilo Escobar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramon Urbez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renato Pirani having to interfere. Durvalino Paes scored 0-2 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melchor Medero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
