The tension between the El Stradivarius and the PERSPOLIS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 25 played minutes El Stradivarius got a freekick which was hit by Moises Sauveur. The supporters of El Stradivarius booed when PERSPOLIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaizki Lacorte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Curcio Amer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Melchor Medero came out and tried to block the shot, but Curcio Amer slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 34th minute. In the 40th minute Cirilo Escobar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Marcilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. El Stradivarius's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Curcio Amer scored to the left of an out of position Melchor Medero, making the score, 4-0.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Cirilo Escobar got free with Virgilio Marcilla in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Moises Sauveur kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Jaizki Lacorte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchor Medero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Curcio Amer in the 73rd minute of play forced El Stradivarius's goalkeeper Melchor Medero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute Ireno Cordoba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchor Medero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cirilo Escobar ran back to his position shaking his head. Xuaco Otero scored 7-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melchor Medero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
