An unexpected shot in the 3rd minute by Rogelio Madeo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Constantino Manny made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Tabajara Londrina LBFC's Durvalino Paes got a free kick in the 18th minute. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tabajara Londrina LBFC! Constantino Manny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gernando Braga, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Constantino Manny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gernando Braga in the 32nd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rogelio Madeo made a kick off. Vélez Juniors's Amancio Godoy was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Renato Pirani in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 55th minute, Ulises Cristofol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osvaldinho Massa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Constantino Manny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vélez Juniors's Emilio Serafo was substituted for Ulises Cristofol. Renato Pirani came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Vélez Juniors's Rogelio Madeo. But to his dismay, Rogelio Madeo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 69th match minute, Tabajara Londrina LBFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gernando Braga to maneuver through the defense. Rogelio Madeo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Renato Pirani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75thth minute of the game Rogelio Madeo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tabajara Londrina LBFC's Renato Pirani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Vélez Juniors booed when Tabajara Londrina LBFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílton Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Tabajara Londrina LBFC's Gernando Braga got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 98th minute, Rogelio Madeo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Renato Pirani was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. There was no doubt that Vélez Juniors were the better team. Vélez Juniors's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
