The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 9 minutes of play, TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's Bruno da Costa made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Apollinaire Salter was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fly T.T's Apollinaire Salter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dênis Gomes in the 12th minute of play. Luisão Simões made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Mathieu Roland sent off a good shot on target. Mathieu Rolands short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Luisão Simões to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathieu Roland in the 17th minute of play forced TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's goalkeeper Luisão Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute Bruno da Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apollinaire Salter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Fly T.T getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Brant Shirley hit a great ball. Bruno da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apollinaire Salter having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elói Nogueira in the 30th minute of play forced Fly T.T's goalkeeper Apollinaire Salter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathieu Roland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Luisão Simões made a huge save. The supporters of TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG booed when Fly T.T was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Léonard Keys didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Dudu Neļķis hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Edwardo Baca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elói Nogueira was the one to do the kick off. Fly T.T's supporters rose to their feet, but Mathieu Roland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisão Simões breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 57th minute Mathieu Roland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisão Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Apollinaire Salter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno da Costa in the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Léonard Colvin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute Vivaldo Pitta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apollinaire Salter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dudu Neļķis in the 65th minute of play forced Fly T.T's goalkeeper Apollinaire Salter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dagoberto Teixeira hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Léonard Keys couldn't finish the play. After having played for 77 minutes, Clair Williamson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fly T.T's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clair Williamson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Kader Picar hit a great ball. In the 79th minute of the match Léonard Keys sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luisão Simões skillfully saved the ball. With an all-out effort, TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's Apollinaire Salter threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vivaldo Pitta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 85 played minutes Fly T.T got a freekick which was hit by Mathieu Roland. Mathieu Roland scored 1-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luisão Simões, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
