Vural Balabey made in the 18th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Mehmet Halis Haliç immediately put the ball in play. The nice shot from Sungur Yalçın in the 28thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Dominic Orcondona had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. The Last Airbender were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Carpasús FC - FDC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Filip Hološko took the corner. Dominic Orcondona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sungur Yalçın in the 35th minute of play. After a rather tough play, The Last Airbender's Ahmet Korkut Aktar got a free kick in the 40th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Xzaiver Balaguer notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of The Last Airbender's Muhittin Suyurgal. Muhittin Suyurgal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Silviano Manzardo's late challenge caught a The Last Airbender's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silviano Manzardo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th match minute, Carpasús FC - FDC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silviano Manzardo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 47 minutes, Filip Hološko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Last Airbender's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filip Hološko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xzaiver Balaguer was the one to do the kick off. The Last Airbender's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
